Registered Nurse (RN) Postpartum

Join our team as a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Postpartum care, where you will provide exceptional nursing services to mothers and newborns following childbirth. This role involves supporting families during a critical and joyful time in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor vital signs of postpartum mothers and newborns, assessing for complications or changes in condition.
• Assist new mothers with breastfeeding, providing lactation support and education.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians to ensure safety and comfort.
• Educate parents on newborn care, including bathing, umbilical cord care, and infant safety.
• Assess mothers for signs of postpartum depression or other complications and provide appropriate referrals.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans for mothers and infants.

Work Environment:

• The role is based in hospital postpartum units or birthing centers where RNs work closely with families during recovery.
• This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to provide emotional support during sensitive moments.
