Senior Accountant Private Equity-Backed | Middle Market Consumer Services | High-Growth Environment We are partnering with a private equity-backed, middle market consumer services company to identify a Senior Accountant who will play a critical role in supporting a high-growth organization. This position reports directly to the CFO and offers strong visibility to leadership, hands‑on exposure to operational finance, and meaningful career progression within a dynamic environment. Position Overview The Senior Accountant will support the monthly close process, financial reporting, and technical accounting initiatives while helping strengthen internal controls and processes as the company scales. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant with public accounting experience looking to transition into a high‑impact industry role within a PE-backed platform. Key Responsibilities Lead and support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Assist with preparation of internal and external financial reporting packages for executive leadership and private equity sponsors Support technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting policies Partner cross‑functionally with operations to improve processes and ensure financial accuracy Contribute to internal control enhancements and process improvements in a high‑growth environment Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis as needed Qualifications 2–5 years of public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm preferred) CPA preferred (or actively pursuing with strong progress toward completion) Strong technical accounting foundation and understanding of GAAP Experience with private equity‑backed clients a plus Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving organization Strong communication skills and desire to work closely with executive leadership Why This Opportunity?
