The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care settings and will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations. Monitor telemetry patients and manage cardiac drips, including Cardizem and Insulin. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and according to established protocols. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and care plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and care provided. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or a Compact RN license. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, specifically in MedSurg and Telemetry. Advanced Telemetry experience is required. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Experience with EMR systems, preferably Cerner, is preferred. Ability to manage patients on telemetry and administer appropriate medications. References from recent clinical supervisors or managers in relevant specialties. Additional Information Candidates may be requested to float to locations within the region as necessary. First-time travelers with relevant experience will be considered.
