Central Operations Specialist

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, We have a full-time Central Operations Specialist opening with a relationship-focused bank that offers a team-oriented workplace and full benefits, including a matching 401(k).

The CENTRAL OPERATIONS SPECIALIST is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

• Legal Processing: Process levies, subpoenas, summonses, garnishments, and other legal orders affecting deposit accounts. Research and resolve processing exceptions.
• Wire Operations: Release outgoing wires under dual-control guidelines and troubleshoot complex processing issues.
• Reconciliations & Accounting: Complete daily/monthly reconciliations, research outstanding items, and balance Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) deposit difference reports.
• Operational Processing: Handle account adjustments, cash shipments/orders, collections, and IOLTA reporting.
• Account Maintenance: Perform callback functions, including debit card and dormant account updates.
• Support & Back-Up: Guide Central Operations Specialist I and II staff, providing operational back-up coverage for complex EIM, wire, and legal processing issues.

Required qualifications for the position include :

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five or more years of financial institution operations experience required.
• Advanced experience in reconciliations, ACH, legal processing, wire operations, or accounting functions preferred.
• Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards (BSA/AML, USA PATRIOT Act, CIP, Privacy, CRA).
• Advanced operational knowledge of deposit products, payment processing, reconciliations, and legal order processing.
• Experience using Client Navigator/Premier, WireXchange.
• Legal and Wires processing experience from another financial institution.

Pay Rate Range : $55,000 - $65,000/year

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
