Pediatric Gastroenterologist

Pediatric Gastroenterologist – Full Time Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking BC/BE candidates specializing in Pediatric Gastroenterology to join our Division. Division Overview The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology currently has eight pediatric gastroenterologists and a nurse practitioner. It provides comprehensive gastroenterology and nutrition services to patients throughout the Inland Empire of Southern California, including outpatient clinics for intestinal failure (home TPN), enteral feeding tubes, inflammatory bowel disease, cystic fibrosis, chronic lung disease, spina bifida, home mechanical ventilation, and liver disease. The division is supported by a nurse specialist, dietician, social worker, and other administrative staff. The facilities include a state‑of‑the‑art endoscopy lab, full‑time anesthesia service, and bio‑feedback and motility studies. The division co‑manages pre‑ and post‑liver transplant care with regional transplant institutions. Duties and Responsibilities Provide clinical care to pediatric gastroenterology patients. Teach and supervise medical students and residents in the Loma Linda University School of Medicine pediatric residency program. Engage in basic and clinical research, with ample opportunities for scholarly activity. Participate in departmental quality improvement and teaching conferences. Qualifications Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology. Strong clinical experience and teaching skills. Experience or interest in motility disorders is preferred. Valid California residency license required at start date. Compensation & Benefits The starting base compensation ranges from $256,850 to $299,650, adjusted for years of experience and faculty rank. Variable compensation and productivity bonuses are not included in this range.
