TeamHealth is seeking a full-time nocturnist emergency medicine physician to join our team at Abrazo Surprise Hospital, a modern micro-hospital in Surprise, Arizona. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians who prefer overnight shifts in a lower-volume, lower-acuity emergency department with strong clinical support and a manageable pace.

• Provide emergency medical care during overnight shifts (6pm - 6am)
• Evaluate, stabilize, and manage patients presenting to the ED
• Coordinate transfers for higher-acuity patients to Abrazo Arrowhead Campus
• Collaborate with APC staff and hospital medicine teams
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a community-based setting

• Full-time nocturnist schedule with consistent overnight coverage
• 14,000 annual ED visits with low-to-moderate acuity
• 12 ED beds in a micro-hospital environment
• 7% admission rate; focus on efficient, streamlined care

• Board certified/board eligible in: emergency medicine or family medicine/internal medicine with significant EM experience
• Comfortable working independently in an overnight setting
