We offer a dynamic and flexible work environment with competitive benefits and the ability to grow your career.The Engineer IV - Information Security, Tools and Engineering, is is a senior technical contributor responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance and continuous improvement of enterprise security tools and the underlying infrastructure platforms that support them.This role serves as a technical leader within the Information Security organization, ensuring security technologies are highly available, securely configured, integrated with enterprise systems and aligned with organizational security objectives.Responsibilities:Deploy, configure, maintain and optimize enterprise security tools, including new tool features and tool integrationsManage tool lifecycle activities including upgrades, migrations, patching, capacity planning and decommissioningPrimary technical owner for assigned security tools/platformsDevelop automation and an engineering first approach to reduce manual effortsPartner with security operations to ensure tools support operational workflowsEstablish metrics, KPIs and maturity roadmaps for security tooling effectivenessEnsure tools are configured, proactively monitored and maintained according to security best practicesParticipate in change management operations and other shared dutiesRequirements:4-year bachelors degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience required8+ years of experience in security technical experience5+ years of experience in network securityExperience with deploying and maintaining enterprise security platforms such as SIEM, EDR, VM, Cloud Security and Security Orchestration and Automation toolsStrong scripting and automation skills including Python and experience building automation workflows, integrations or tooling to support security operationsExperience with Windows and Linux server administrationThis position is based in our Reston, VA office and offers a hybrid work schedule.The pay range is $135,800 - $183,800.The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is noted above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience.
