Warehouse Technician

Job Description

A client is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials and technical equipment. This individual will process incoming and outgoing orders, verify shipments against tickets and receipts, pull and stage materials for delivery, and ensure inventory is accurately tracked and stored. The technician will operate within established warehouse procedures while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. The role may also involve operating a forklift, moving inventory throughout the facility, and assisting with general warehouse logistics. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, has a stable work history, and is interested in a long-term opportunity with potential for full-time conversion. This candidate needs to be comfortable with a rate between $20-23/hr dependent on experience.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material handling experience

Experience processing inbound and outbound shipments

Experience pulling, storing, and distributing materials within a warehouse environment

Comfortable handling hardware and technical equipment

Ability to verify orders against tickets, packing slips, and receipts

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining an organized and safe work environment

Reliable work history with demonstrated longevity and stability in previous roles

Ability to work an early shift (typically 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Prior forklift operating experience

Forklift certification (client will provide certification in-house)

Experience working with technical hardware, electronics, or IT equipment

Previous experience mentoring or training junior warehouse personnel

Interest in long-term career growth and potential conversion to a full-time employee
