Customer Service Supervisor-Logistics
A growing organization is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor-Logistics to join its team! This is a hands-on leadership role combining customer account management, billing/invoicing, logistics support, and team supervision in a fast-paced operational environment.
What You'll Do
- Manage key customer accounts from order processing through invoicing and issue resolution.
- Supervise, coach, and support a customer service team while remaining hands-on with assigned accounts.
- Oversee high-volume billing, invoicing, account inquiries, and dispute resolution.
- Review billing and operational data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Serve as an escalation point for customer issues and service disruptions.
- Partner closely with Operations, Dispatch, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Credit, and Collections.
- Support account reconciliations and resolve outstanding billing issues.
- Monitor team performance, workloads, service levels, and productivity.
- Identify process improvements to increase billing accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- 25+ years of customer service, customer operations, logistics, or related leadership experience, including direct reports.
- Experience managing customer accounts, invoicing, reconciliations, and issue resolution.
- Background in a high-volume logistics, transportation, supply chain, oil & gas services, or similar environment strongly preferred.
- Experience with JD Edwards, TMS platforms, Ariba, OpenInvoice, or similar systems is a plus.
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
- Strong communicator who is organized, analytical, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to provide occasional after-hours/weekend support when business needs require.
