Registered Nurse Cardiac OR

Schedule: 12-hour shift - 7 AM to 7 PM

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

RN License (New York License ONLY)
BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
Two (2) years of experience
Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma facility (highly desired)
Ability to scrub and circulate

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care for adult cardiac patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
Scrub and circulate in complex adult cardiac surgeries, including CABGs and minimally invasive procedures.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Monitor patient condition throughout the perioperative process.
Educate patients and their families regarding preoperative and postoperative care.
