Piping Designer at Technical Staffing Resources Marlborough, MA

Job Description Technical Staffing Resources has an opening for a Piping Designer with one of the largest EPC firms in the country. This is a long‑term contract position in the Marlborough, MA area. Duties and Responsibilities Perform the necessary fieldwork, pulling measurements, locating tie‑ins, as‑building existing systems, etc., and develop detailed scopes. Work from P&IDs, client specifications and vendor data to design complex piping systems for chemical facilities. Create isometrics and pipe supports. Ensure that the completed design is functional, maintainable, and designed with safety and that all applicable codes have been followed. Interface with other disciplines. Qualifications and Skill Requirements Knowledgeable in the design and layout of process piping and equipment in chemical facilities or refineries. AutoCAD experience required; 3D or PLANT preferred.
