Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Acute Med/Surg Tele RN for a travel assignment at a 122-bed facility. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong telemetry skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and protocols.
• Interpret telemetry strips, identify arrhythmias, and respond appropriately.
• Insert peripheral IV lines and NG tubes as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in EPIC EMR system.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; NIHSS must be completed prior to start.
• Minimum of 5 years' med-surg tele experience or 3 years of tele experience required.
• Prior travel experience in facilities with 300+ beds required.
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.
• Proven ability to interpret telemetry rhythms and respond promptly.
• Reliable transportation and ability to start within one week of offer.
