Provide life-changing, one-on-one nursing care in a client’s home.

Grattan Private Duty Nursing is urgently hiring a Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide personalized care for a client in Garrison, MN.

Unlike facility nursing, private-duty nursing allows you to focus on one client, build a meaningful relationship and provide high-quality care in a calm home environment.

Available schedule

• Full-time and part-time opportunities

Responsibilities

Depending on the client’s care plan, responsibilities may include:

• Medication administration
• Respiratory treatments
• Skin and wound assessments
• G-tube or J-tube feeding and care
• Seizure monitoring and management
• Ventilator and tracheostomy care
• Colostomy or catheter care
• Assistance with activities of daily living
• Accurate documentation through a user-friendly eMAR

These responsibilities align with the complex RN and LPN services Grattan identifies, including wound care, ventilator and tracheostomy care, medication administration, ostomy management and enteral feeding.

Minimum qualifications

• Active Minnesota Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
• Ability to pass a criminal background study
• Ability to complete required agency training
• Dependable transportation to the client’s home
• Compassionate and reliable approach to patient care
