See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality:Grade: 3Position Overview:A Woodworker performs a wide variety of fabrication tasks centered around building cabinetry.Essential Functions:Performs basic wood working or rough carpentry work on small or large boats.Frequently involves use of staples and staple guns in assembly of rough wood structures to be covered with other materials (fiberglass, upholstery).Includes mill assembly and lamination woodworking positions.Must be willing to learn all aspects of woodshop including running CNC routers, cabinet building, and assembly builds.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalentExperience in basic or rough carpentryAbility to read and understand production schedule and blueprintsAbility to work in a hot and dusty environment, using protective clothing and respirator if neededRequires ability to use a wide variety of hand tools, powered and manualKnowledge of hazardous chemical handling and disposalWorking knowledge of procedures, instructions, and documents as it relates to the quality systemWorking Conditions:Must always possess the desire and ambition to work safely and report all hazards to their supervisor immediately.Must understand basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP, and other regulatory agencies.Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, standing, etc., with or without reasonable accommodation.The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $23.18, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus or short-term incentive program.
