Ultrasound Technologist

Full-time position, 32-40 hours a week, with either 8 or 10 hour days.

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality general, abdominal, OB-GYN, and vascular ultrasound studies, maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality general ultrasound including abdomen, OB/GYN, and vascular studies.
• Competently set up and assist radiologists during procedures.
• Utilize EMR systems for generating and completing exam orders.
• Perform, record, and analyze QC data to ensure accuracy and precision.
• Maintain a safe working environment through equipment checks and cleaning work areas.
• Exhibit regular attendance and minimal unplanned time off.
• Engage in ongoing education to maintain clinical competency and knowledge of new protocols and equipment.
• Communicate supply needs to appropriate personnel to ensure uninterrupted testing.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance patient and staff experiences.
• Recommend process improvements for increased efficiencies.
• Demonstrate company values in all interactions and performance.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Graduate from an accredited school of ultrasound.
• RVT registration preferred; RDMS (AB, OB-GYN) preferred.
• BLS certification required.
