Facility:
This community-based cancer center is a well-established oncology facility offering comprehensive hematology and oncology services. The center features 18 chemotherapy infusion chairs, 2 non-chemo infusion chairs, on-site radiation oncology services, and the capability to perform bone marrow biopsies directly within the center. The department is staffed by a collaborative team of physicians and nurse practitioners providing both ambulatory and hospital patient consultations.

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens coverage needed October 2026 through March 2027 due to medical leave
• Full time preferred; candidates available 2-3 weeks per month will also be considered
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break; overtime applies after 9-hour workday
• Shared call coverage required on nights and weekends
• Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift
• Provide hematology and oncology care in a community-based cancer center setting
• Consult both ambulatory and inpatient hospital patients
• Bone marrow biopsies to be performed within the Cancer Center
• Board certification required with ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
• Provider must utilize real-time Mobile Time Clock, preferably GPS-based, as required by the facility
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 60 days
• Nearest airports: Eau Claire Regional Airport or Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport
