Pearle Vision is seeking an experienced and dependable Receptionist/Optometric Technician to join our fast-paced, patient-focused team. In this role, you will play a key part in both front desk operations and clinical support - welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and assisting with pre-testing to ensure a smooth, high-quality experience from start to finish. We're looking for someone with a background in medical office settings, strong customer service skills, and the ability to balance administrative tasks with hands-on clinical support in dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
-Welcome patients and manage the full check-in/check out process
-Schedule and confirm appointments
-Manage multiple phone lines, respond to inquiries, and route calls appropriately
-Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations prior to services
-Process payments and balance daily cash and credit card transactions
-Maintain accurate patient records and data entry in electronic systems
-Provide clinical support to the optometric team, including performing pre-testing using the auto-refractor, tonometer, and retinal imaging camera
-Patient education for contact lens insertion and removal
-Support overall office efficiency and maintain a professional, organized environment
-Collaborate with doctors and the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience

Qualifications:
Required: 
-1-2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
-Strong multitasking and organizational skills
-Excellent communications and customer service abilities
-Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records

Preferred:
-Experience in optometry, ophthalmology, or optical settings
