Responsibilities
- Provide coordinated oncology nursing care to outpatients in a clinic setting, following established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, ensuring safe, patient-centered care.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines and departments to optimize treatment plans and patient outcomes.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory discretion in planning and delivering care.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, symptom management, and safe discharge planning when applicable.

Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse license in California (or eligibility to practice in California per state requirements).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Oncology or infusion clinic experience preferred; outpatient oncology exposure is a plus.
- Ability to work in a hospital/clinic setting delivering outpatient oncology care and to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Education: BSN preferred; an Associate Degree in Nursing with relevant experience may be considered.
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical assessment skills; ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and 4x10-hour shifts.
