Furnace Tender Job Summary:
- $18.00 per hour
- 6AM-6PM
- 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off.
- Operation of Front-End Loaders/Skid Steer loaders/Forklifts for loading, unloading and maintaining operations of aluminum melting processes.
- Testing of Material for proper quality standards
- Attention for safety.
Furnace Tender Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED; preferred.
- Manufacturing experience of at least 1 year.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to withstand being close to furnace for short periods of time.
- Ability to lift maximum of 50# throughout shift.
- Experience with loader equipment.
