Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree strongly preferred
• Possession of a valid Texas teaching certification with Special Education (SPED) endorsements
• Previous experience in special education, social work, counseling, or a closely related field
• Background in school counseling (LPC), BCBA, psychology, or social work is highly desirable
• Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective behavioral interventions

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to individual student needs
• Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
• Actively participate in ARD, IEP, Response to Intervention (RtI), and Section 504 meetings
• Provide support to classrooms and assist with crisis intervention to help students successfully access learning
• Serve as a key resource for teachers and staff, offering strategies and training to promote positive behavioral outcomes
• Maintain detailed records and contribute to compliance with state and federal special education regulations

This full-time position offers a 37.5-hour workweek and a starting rate of $30+ per hour, commensurate with your skills and experience. You’ll work alongside a supportive, knowledgeable team passionate about making a tangible impact on student success.
