Sign-On Bonus
- 1,000 Sign-On Bonus for entry-level candidates, paid within the first 4 months of employment. No prior experience required.
- 2,000 Sign-On Bonus for experienced installers, paid after 4 months of employment. Minimum of one year of related experience required.

Position Overview
The Garage Door Installer is responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial garage door systems. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Successful candidates must be able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install, service, and repair garage doors, openers, and related components according to company standards and manufacturer specifications.
Ensure all work is completed to the customer's satisfaction while maintaining quality workmanship and minimizing warranty issues.
Develop and maintain knowledge of company products, services, pricing, parts, and installation procedures.
Recommend and sell replacement products, accessories, and repair parts when appropriate.
Continuously improve mechanical skills and stay current on installation techniques, safety requirements, and product updates.
Accurately complete and submit work orders, job tickets, time sheets, and related documentation in a timely manner.
Collect customer payments (CODs) when required and notify management of any payment issues or scope changes.
Maintain truck inventory and possess a working knowledge of parts, part numbers, and product descriptions.
Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
Follow all driving safety regulations and job site safety procedures.
Know the location of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and comply with all company safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned to support business and customer needs.
Qualifications
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
Ability to read work orders, installation instructions, and project documentation.
Experience with Overhead Door™ products is a plus but not required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management.
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Construction industry experience is preferred.
Minimum of two years of garage door installation and service experience preferred.
Required Training & Certifications

OSHA 10 Certification
Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) review, contingent upon employment
Physical Requirements
This position regularly requires lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding, work at heights, and perform tasks in confined spaces. Frequent bending, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and overhead work are required. The ability to work safely in varying weather conditions is essential.
