Descripción del Puesto

El Trabajador de Línea de Molduras Especiales apoya las operaciones de una importante empresa de fabricación de gabinetes personalizados. Todos los empleados comienzan en el departamento de molduras y trabajan en diferentes áreas de producción durante la jornada laboral. Este puesto se enfoca en cortar paneles terminados y especializados, operar maquinaria para carpintería y mantener los equipos para garantizar una producción eficiente y de alta calidad. Con el tiempo, tendrá oportunidades de trasladarse a otros departamentos y avanzar profesionalmente dentro de la

empresa.

Responsabilidades

Cortar paneles terminados y especializados con un alto nivel de precisión y atención al detalle.

Operar sierras de mesa y máquinas enchapadoras de cantos de manera segura y eficiente para satisfacer las necesidades de producción.

Detectar fallas en los equipos, inspeccionar piezas para garantizar su calidad y ajustar los controles de las máquinas según sea

necesario.

Reemplazar cuchillas y otros componentes de herramientaspara mantener un rendimiento óptimo de las máquinas.

Preparar las máquinas para la producción mediante la configuración, calibración y verificación de su correcto funcionamiento.

Limpiar y dar mantenimiento a los equipos, herramientas y piezas para garantizar un área de trabajo segura y organizada.

Utilizar cintas métricas y otras herramientas manuales para realizar mediciones precisas y tareas de preparación.

Seguir instrucciones de producción y trabajar en un entorno dinámico cumpliendo con los requisitos de capacitación y desempeño.

Colaborar con miembros del equipo en varios departamentos para apoyar los objetivos generales de producción.

Realizar otras tareas asignadas para apoyar las operaciones de manufactura y las necesidades del departamento.

Habilidades Esenciales

Mínimo 6 meses de experiencia laboral en producción, trabajo general, construcción o un entorno similar.

Capacidad para levantar hasta 30 libras de manera regular.

Capacidad para aprobar una prueba de lectura de cinta métrica y realizar mediciones precisas.

Comodidad para trabajar en un entorno de ritmo acelerado y cumplir con los requisitos de capacitación.

Experiencia utilizando herramientas manuales y eléctricas de forma segura y eficiente.

Conocimientos básicos en el manejo de sierras, incluidas las sierras de mesa.

Destreza manual y atención al detalle al trabajar con gabinetes, carpintería o tareas de ensamblaje.

Capacidad para inspeccionar piezas y paneles terminados para garantizar calidad y precisión.

Habilidades y Calificaciones Adicionales

Experiencia en producción, trabajo general o construcción es una ventaja.

Experiencia en carpintería, fabricación de gabinetes o trabajos relacionados es un plus.

Conocimiento de procesos y materiales de carpintería.

Experiencia utilizando cintas métricas, herramientas manuales y herramientas eléctricas para tareas de ensamblaje y corte.

Capacidad para trabajar en diferentes departamentos y adaptarse a tareas cambiantes durante el día.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux City, IA.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
