Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of toolmaker operations related to the setup, maintenance, and fabrication of tooling components.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, technical specifications, and engineering diagrams to complete precision tasks.
• Set up, operate, and maintain tool room equipment, including grinders, milling machines, drill presses, and lathes.
• Manufacture precision replacement parts and tooling components to support machine functionality and production needs.
• Perform minor machine repairs and troubleshoot tooling-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Support special tooling, fixture, and project assignments as required to meet operational objectives.
• Train and assist team members on proper equipment setup, operation, and best practices for tooling systems.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while ensuring all tool room equipment remains in proper working condition.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company standards to promote a safe manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school certification required.
• Minimum of 4+ years of related experience in toolmaking, machining, or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience operating manual machining equipment, including mills, lathes, drill presses, band saws, and hand grinders to produce tooling components.
• Strong ability to proficiently operate common machining equipment such as milling machines, lathes, and grinders.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately.
• Knowledge of precision measurement techniques and tool room safety practices preferred.
