Kitchen & Bath Sales Designer / Showroom Manager

About the Position

seeking a creative, outgoing, and detail-oriented Kitchen & Bath Sales Designer / Showroom Manager for our West Bloomfield showroom.

This full-time position combines kitchen and bathroom design and sales with responsibility for the organization, appearance, and daily operation of the showroom.

The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with customers, has strong design and sales skills, and can manage several projects at once. This person will guide customers through the entire design and sales process while creating a welcoming, professional showroom experience.

Design and Sales Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to understand their needs, preferences, budgets, and project goals
• Design custom kitchen and bathroom layouts using 2020 Design software
• Recommend cabinetry, finishes, features, and design solutions
• Prepare accurate layouts, specifications, and pricing
• Maintain timely and professional follow-up with customers
• Guide customers through the selection and sales process
• Present proposals and confidently close sales
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, installers, and other team members
• Maintain organized and accurate project records
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
• Resolve questions and concerns professionally throughout each project
• Make excellent customer service the top priority

Showroom Manager Responsibilities

• Oversee the showroom’s daily organization and appearance
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional environment
• Keep product displays, samples, literature, and pricing current and organized
• Ensure customers are greeted and assisted promptly
• Help manage showroom appointments and customer activity
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for cabinetry, products, and the sales process
• Communicate showroom needs and customer concerns to senior management
• Help identify opportunities to improve the showroom and customer experience
• Maintain a positive attitude and stay organized in a busy environment

Required Qualifications

• Experience using 2020 Design software is required
• Experience in kitchen and bathroom design and sales
• Strong knowledge of kitchen and bathroom design principles
• Knowledge of cabinetry construction, specifications, and available options
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Sales-oriented, confident, and comfortable working directly with customers
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage several projects at the same time
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to remain positive and organized under pressure

Preferred Experience

• Previous showroom management or leadership experience
• Experience coordinating projects with cabinet installers
• Experience preparing cabinet layouts, specifications, and customer quotations
• Experience working with multiple cabinet catalogs

This position offers strong base pay based on experience, plus commission based on sales volume .
