Physical Therapist - Neuro & Ortho IP & OP - OP/IP

This is a part-time position (48 hours/2 weeks) (Mon-Fri) at Scripps Mercy Hospital in Hillcrest. Outpatient and Inpatient - Neuro and Ortho patients with focus on Neuro - Bonus Eligible*

You will be treating a combination of neuro and ortho patients in the Outpatient setting with the requirement to train in inpatient and float there if outpatient schedule is not filled. The patients may present post CVA (stroke), various neurodegenerative diseases, complex trauma and traumatic brain injuries and post surgical ortho, other joint pain/overuse injuries.


The Physical Therapist conducts evaluations, assessments, prognosis, treatment, and education as prescribed by a qualified medical practitioner, in compliance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Title 16 regulations.

*$2K New Hire Retention Incentive: 30% at 3 months and 70% at 12 months

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met

• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Qualifications
Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• Licensed as a PT in the State of California OR License Pending (Must have license in hand before start)
• Current BLS Certificate from the American Heart Association

Preferred Experience:

• At least one year of experience in inpatient or outpatient neuro setting
