Instrument Technician

The Instrument Technician reports to the Instrument Commissioning Lead and is responsible for executing field-level instrumentation commissioning activities on oil & gas / gas processing projects in California. Key Responsibilities Execute pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in the field safely Perform loop checks, calibration, and system verification Support walkdowns, punch list verification, and check sheet completion Assist with startup activities (motors, pumps, compressors, troubleshooting) Support PSSR activities, LOTO, and permit compliance Assist with EHT, temporary power setups, and instrumentation repairs Support vendor activities and equipment preservation programs Participate actively in safety programs and site audits Requirements 5+ years O&G / gas processing commissioning field experience Instrument journeyman ticket preferred Strong troubleshooting and field execution skills Ability to read P&IDs, loop drawings, and technical documents #J-18808-Ljbffr WSG Energy Services
