Janitor - Anchorage (ConocoPhillips Tower)

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Janitors for the night shift to support daily operations at the Anchorage ConocoPhillips Tower. This role performs regular janitorial duties including office cleaning, trash removal, cleaning of bathrooms, and much more.

Work Location: Anchorage, AK

Work Schedule: Urban, Monday-Friday (40 hrs/week)

Job Duties:

• Clean hallways, stairways, offices, break areas and equipment, common areas, restrooms, public areas, and other similar areas
• Dust both low and high areas and wipe down/clean various surfaces
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, extracting, waxing, buffing, vacuuming, etc. all types of floors
• Removes and transports and compacts trash to the appropriate disposal areas
• Change light bulbs and perform light facility maintenance
• Follow proper DUS safety precautions and wear the correct PPE for the task
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner
• Willingness to perform other duties as required
• Willingness to work at various locations as required

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six months of janitorial experience
• Able to proficiently speak, read, understand and write English
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical requirements
• Must meet criminal history and background requirements

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

• Experience with carpet cleaning
• Experience with floor stripping, buffing and waxing

Working Environment and Expectations:

Work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities. Ability to remain on your feet for long shifts and perform repetitive physical tasks, including walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting. Teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential. Strict adherence to safety, work procedures, and conduct standards.
