Sr. Specialized Sales Director

Journey
Our client is seeking Senior Sales Directors to join their growing organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Source, prospect, and conduct outbound outreach to shippers
- Present, promote and sell transportation services to prospective customers
- Quote and negotiate rates via RFPs and advise on spot quotes
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive customer relationships
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in a 3pl Freight Brokerage Customer Sales role
- 5+ years of experience with white glove, air time critical, expedited, box truck, sprinter van, or intermodal experience required
- Proven success in 3pl logistics Customer Sales
- High level of motivation, proven success bringing on new logos, and strong communications skills
Details:
- Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL - in office daily or hybrid
- Compensation: $100k - $140k base salary + commission
*Our clients do not expect candidates to transition their book of business; however, our clients require 10+ years of previous experience in shipper-facing sales/building an organic book of business.*
