Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, logistics, or distribution operations preferred.
• Experience performing cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliations.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment or willingness to obtain certification.

Job Duties

• Perform daily, scheduled, and ad hoc cycle counts on raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
• Conduct physical inventory audits and reconcile inventory balances between warehouse locations and system records.
• Count and verify tools, accessories, and materials throughout the distribution center.
• Enter inventory count results into SAP S/4HANA or WMS systems and process inventory adjustments as needed.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and document findings.
• Recommend corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy and reduce variances.
• Operate forklifts, turret trucks, and man-up trucks to access inventory in storage locations.
• Prepare inventory transactions, transfers, and inventory-related documentation.
• Monitor and report inventory issues including mislabeled products, damaged materials, misplaced inventory, and stock shortages.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, spreadsheets, and audit documentation.
• Support warehouse operations through special inventory projects and cycle count requests.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Cycle Counter.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
