Cleaner, Part Time- 2nd Shift

Job Title Cleaner, Part Time - 2nd Shift Shift 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday‑Friday Job Summary The Cleaner works under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor and performs custodial duties for C&W Services. Responsibilities Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other surfaces inside buildings. Use light and heavy floor buffers and commercial shampoo machines with attachments. Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas. Spot clean rugs daily and shampoo when directed. Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and other horizontal surfaces, including periodic high dusting. Wash windowsills; glass in interior doors, partitions, and specified windows. Wash glass and trim at entrance doors, both interior and exterior. Wash/spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily. Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily: damp wipe glass surfaces, empty waste baskets, service soap and toilet paper dispensers, dust sills, clean tile walls, shelves and stall partitions, sweep, mop and scrub floors. Monitor defects such as clogged urinals and lights out, and report to supervisors. Collect building and parking garage trash daily and place it in approved containers and designated collection area. Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers as specified. Sweep or shovel snow from steps and walkways at building entrances and connecting walkways or sidewalks as directed. Maintain cleanliness of elevator landings in the parking garage. Perform periodic tasks: high dusting, leather and wood surface polishing, wall washing. Perform any other duties as assigned. Requirements No previous experience required; must be able to take direction and work with minimal supervision. Must function cooperatively as part of a team. Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment, including a portable backpack vacuum cleaner. Requires strong attention to detail, pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high energy and endurance. Must work shift 5:30 PM – 10:30 PM. Requires ability to speak and read English. Compensation The compensation for this position is $11.09 – $13.05 per hour. The company will not pay less than minimum wage.
