This position reports to the Black Pine Project Lead or his/her designee. Duties and requirements of an individual working as a Maintenance Technician at the Black Pine Project will be inclusive of, but not limited to, the following:

1. Site Housekeeping
   1. Project Site Housekeeping – clean up all trash and spills around drill pads, roads, and laydown area sites.
   2. Check and maintain our spill containment kit.
   3. Keep the site clear of weeds and trash.
2. Storm Water Inspections & Reporting:
   1. Storm water BMP inspections – Initially this would be directed by Environmental Site Manager but would result in future independent response.
   2. Periodic or as needed reporting – print out inspection reports and put them in the binder.
   3. This includes the digitization of the reports and storage into the right folder structure.
3. Reclamation and Weed Management
   1. As directed, reseeding and raking in recently reclaimed areas.
   2. As directed by Environmental Site Manager, you will document the effectiveness and/or encroachment of noxious weeds.
   3. Assist herbicide application logistics with selected contractors.
   4. Be responsible for weed management at the client’s Ranch.
4. Private Lands Management
   1. Assist in maintaining acceptable conditions on all owned parcels including weed management, fences and gates. 
   2. Works with lands manager to achieve short and long-term goals for private lands.
   3. At direction of the Environmental Site Manager/Lands Manager, work with and provide supplemental labor to contractors. 

5. Air Quality

1. Change out E-bam tape as directed by Environmental Site Manager.
2. Fill the evap pan as necessary by climatic conditions.
3. Routinely check the fitting and connection of the equipment. 

1. Facilities Maintenance: Perform or assist in the following as assigned by the Project Lead:
   1. Performing light maintenance to vehicle fleet including safety checks.
   2. Replacing light bulbs/fixtures, emptying trash receptacles.
   3. Materials handling and storage in the lay down yard, core shed, con-exes, and other.

Basic Job Requirements:

1. Accurately complete inspections, reports, and electronic records.
2. Work outdoors for extended periods in a remote field environment under varying and potentially severe weather conditions, including high heat, cold temperatures, wind, rain, snow, and other inclement weather.
3. Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
4. Walk, stand, bend, kneel, and work for up to 8 hours per shift on rough, uneven, terrain.
5. Lift, carry, push, and pull equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
6. Work independently for portions of the workday in isolated or rural areas while maintaining scheduled radio or telephone communication with supervision and team members.
7. Safely operate hand tools and power tools as required.
8. Perform repetitive physical tasks requiring manual dexterity, coordination, and the use of hands, arms, legs, and feet.
9. Maintain situational awareness while working around active exploration activities, moving equipment and changing environmental conditions.

Safety: Responsibilities will include:

1. Adhering to Liberty’s safety policies and safe work procedures.
2. Perform periodic required inspections of first aid kits, AEDs, grounding checks.
