Salary: $90K-$100K+ (Depending on Experience) Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with Company Contribution, PTO, Paid Holidays, Life & Disability Insurance, Parental Leave Sterling Engineering is looking for a Seismic Project Manager in Aurora, IL. This is an exciting opportunity to manage multiple commercial construction projects supporting seismic design for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and experienced in managing multiple projects from kickoff through completion in a fast-paced environment. Job Summary The Seismic Project Manager will oversee approximately 18 projects in various stages of completion, managing engineering deliverables, project schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communication. Projects primarily support commercial construction, including hospitals, data centers, and other facilities. This is a fully onsite position requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Job Duties Manage multiple seismic construction projects from initiation through completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate engineering deliverables, submittals, material releases, and project documentation. Process purchase orders, subcontracts, invoices, and schedules of values. Review construction drawings, specifications, blueprints, and other project documents. Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, engineers, vendors, and customers throughout the project lifecycle. Track project schedules and provide progress, financial, and status reports. Provide technical support related to MEP seismic systems. Balance multiple active projects while maintaining strong customer communication. Support project scope refinement and overall project execution. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of construction project management experience. Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction methods. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a deadline-driven environment. Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills. Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with Bluebeam, CAD, Revit, or similar construction software is highly preferred. Recent graduates with strong construction-related internship experience and knowledge of MEP systems and blueprints will also be considered.
