Territory Manager (Louisiana)

About the Role As a Territory Manager in Louisiana, you will drive new business growth and ensure customer success across your designated territory. The role requires a proactive, hands‑on approach with a focus on expansion, long‑term satisfaction and field experience across Louisiana. What Your Day Could Look Like Prospecting New Business: Attend cattle auctions, local livestock, and cattlemen associations; build a pipeline through outbound lead generation. Respond to inbound leads promptly. In‑Field Sales: Meet customers on ranches, horse saddles or side‑by‑side, presenting Halter and delivering value. Provide coffee and support during calving season. Expanding Existing Opportunities: Identify upsell opportunities and expand relationships with partial collaring customers. Hitting Sales Targets: Manage pipeline, qualify leads and pursue deals to meet high‑growth targets. Customer Account Management: Maintain relationships after the sale, provide support, and address challenges to preserve satisfaction. Territory Ownership: Own the entirety of Louisiana, engaging stakeholders at local, state and federal level and building lasting relationships. Customer Onboarding: Ensure smooth onboarding and deployment; act as the primary point of transition between sales and implementation. Field Learnings & Feedback: Gather customer insights, advocate for needs, and promote them to product teams. Collaborating with Support Teams: Resolve issues swiftly and keep customers fully supported. Attending Industry Events: Leverage events such as CattleCon to generate leads and deepen existing relationships. Contributing to the US Sales Strategy: Provide input on sales processes and adaptations to the US market. You’ll be Great if You Exhibit Driven attitude & communication skills – results‑driven, proactive, and adept at influencing customers and teammates. Ranching / cattle experience – knowledge of ranch operations and industry challenges. Sales & customer success expertise – history of new business creation, value‑based selling, and long‑term relationship building. Territory management – experience managing a large agricultural or technology territory. Problem solving & collaboration – resourceful and effective with cross‑functional teams. Willingness to travel – frequent travel within Louisiana. Bonus Things You Could Bring Along to the Role Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies.
