Description: This position focuses on providing rapid response nursing care. The unit has 150 beds and 5 staff members, including day shift and night shift personnel. Patient ratios are 1:1. Utilizes Siemens Single plane c arm equipment. The EMR system in use is Meditech. Candidates with Meditech experience and strong vascular access skills will be preferred. Experience with PICC lines or midlines is advantageous. Typical procedures performed in this setting include para/thoracentesis, LVO, FNA, midline, PICC line placement, kyphoplasty, and pulmonary embolism thrombectomy. Candidates should possess a positive attitude and critical thinking skills. Maintaining high-quality patient care is essential. Collaboration and teamwork will be key components of this role. On-call requirements include 5 PM to 7 AM on weeknights and 24 hours on weekends. Staff work closely together to create a supportive environment.
