Responsibilities:

• Audiology assistant checks - routine hearing aid checks, warranty expiration visits, Loss & Damage claims, repairs, etc.
• Perform in office repairs of hearing aids and assistive devices, when possible and send aids to the manufacturers when needed.
• Order hearing aids, repairs, accessories, chargers, receivers, etc. from manufacturers in a timely manner
• Counsel patient regarding repair warranties, Loss & Damage coverage (manufacturer and ESCO), and service plan options
• Appropriately charge for all parts and services. Document patient fees and payments on hearing aid encounter tickets and invoices, when applicable.
• Ensure patients schedule appropriate follow up visits with audiologists and audiology assistants
• Assist with hearing aid package check-in/programming
• Ensure clinical rooms and repair rooms are well stocked. Order clinical supplies, manufacturer supplies, batteries, and office supplies, as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service and computer skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Friendly, personable demeanor
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task
• A minimum experience of one year experience in the medical field is preferred but not required.
