We would like to fill the following permanent vacancy in a hybrid working model in Garching as soon as possible. Head of Supply Chain Management (f/m/d) Your role Projects in the areas of inventory and supply management, production planning and scheduling with contract manufacturers, including distribution if applicable End‑to‑end responsibility for the supply chain of clinical and commercial radiopharmaceutical and diagnostic products, including scaling across all clinical phases up to commercial‑scale production Definition, development, and establishment of global manufacturing and logistics chains for clinical studies (Phase I–IV), in close coordination with relevant departments within the corporate group Lead role in negotiating and drafting supply agreements with manufacturers for clinical trial materials and products for commercial demand Management, development, and oversight of contract manufacturers and logistics partners, including regular business review meetings Functional and disciplinary leadership as well as further development of the Supply Chain Management team Steering and implementation of projects to optimize material flow, logistics, and inventory management to improve stock levels Initiation of measures to secure production in the event of supply shortages Functional contribution and input for development and production projects Close interdisciplinary collaboration with responsible departments Establishment of KPIs for process evaluation as well as preparation, control, and monitoring of budgets Your profile Completed degree in business administration or a scientific field with a focus on Supply Chain Management or Logistics, or a comparable qualification 10+ years of practical professional experience in a senior supply‑chain role and in supplier management, preferably in the pharmaceutical, radiopharmaceutical, or medical technology industry Proven track record of building complex global supply-chain organizations and leading multidisciplinary international teams Experience in production and logistics planning within a manufacturing company is an advantage Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and persuasion skills, confident demeanor, assertiveness, and strong negotiation capabilities when dealing with suppliers and manufacturers Hands‑on mentality combined with an independent and structured working style Flexibility, resilience, assertiveness, and a high level of organizational talent Knowledge of lean and/or quality management; Six Sigma qualification is an advantage Confident use of common MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) as well as SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems Fluent in written and spoken German and English Our offer Exciting challenges in an up‑and‑coming and fast‑growing company with a high degree of creative freedom An open working atmosphere in an international corporate culture with short communication channels Flexible working hours with home office options Attractive special payments Just a good salary?
