divh2Cooks Helper/h2pThe Cooks Helper is responsible for assisting the cooks in preparing recipes and food items in accordance with the Executive Chefs requirements./ph3How You Will Create the Extraordinary/h3ulliPrepare, saut, broil, fry, bake and grill food items in accordance with kitchen needs./liliHelping to do preparation work; cutting, slicing, dicing, etc./liliPerform various job duties that will include in assisting the operation of grill, fryer, broiler, oven and French top in accordance with kitchen needs./liliPerform preliminary preparation work in a timely manner./liliEnsures ingredient supply levels are accurate./liliMove items from shelves to carts and transport them to assigned stations for restocking purposes./liliMaintains the required part of food items in their assigned station from support areas throughout the property./liliUnderstand proper safety and health codes and regulations and maintain them regularly./liliEnsure all areas assigned are clean and free of debris/liliTo assist with any other job-related duties that may be assigned./li/ulh3What You Will Need/h3ulliWork requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner./liliWork requires a minimum of two years experience as a cook./liliWork requires a neat appearance with good personal hygiene./liliTwo years fry cooking experience is required./liliPrevious experience cooking eggs is preferred./liliPrevious work experience with a point of sales system is preferred./liliYou must be able to provide your own tools, including a chefs knife, carving/slicing knife, metal spatula, metal tongs, carving fork and a paring knife./liliMust be able to work any day of the week and during any shift./liliMust be able to get along with co-workers and must be able to work as a team./li/ulpstrongAdditional Requirements/strong/pulliWork requires the ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time./liliLoud, fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint./liliRequires standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting and reaching throughout the shift./liliMust be able to handle a heavy business volume in a timely manner./liliWork requires pushing carts up to 70lbs, lifting full pots up to 100lbs, repetitive stirring, extreme hot and cold work conditions, and bending at the waist./liliNevada Health Card/li/ulh3About Us/h3pAs part of our award winning team, you will help to create the romantic ambiance and classic European style that our most prestigious guests have come to expect from Paris Las Vegas.
