Target Salary : $100,000-120,000

Bonus/ Incentives/ Stock Options : up to 20% annual bonus

Mon-Fri, 7am-4:30pm; 50 hrs/wk on average

At least 50% travel to Boaz, AL / Waskom, TX / Jackson, SC

Job Summary : Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, operations, and customers to improve product quality and manufacturing processes. This role will use quality engineering tools, data analysis, auditing, and structured problem-solving methods to resolve quality issues, reduce risk, and drive continuous improvement.

Job Duties :

\n

\n

\n
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to identify and resolve product and process quality issues
\n
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions related to customer concerns, audit findings, and manufacturing issues
\n
• Develop and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, process flows, inspection methods, testing requirements, procedures, and other quality documentation
\n
• Analyze quality and manufacturing data using SPC, process capability studies, Pareto analysis, control charts, and other statistical tools
\n
• Support APQP, PPAP, MSA, Gauge R&R, process validation, and equipment/process qualification activities
\n
• Conduct internal process and quality system audits and support customer and third-party audits
\n
• Support new product launches and manufacturing process changes to ensure quality requirements are incorporated
\n
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance to improve process capability, reliability, and overall manufacturing performance
\n
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement, Lean, and Kaizen initiatives
\n
• Maintain quality records and communicate with customers regarding quality concerns and corrective actions
\n

Qualifications :

\n

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field
\n
• Quality engineering or manufacturing quality experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
\n
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and process controls
\n
• Working knowledge of AIAG Core Tools, including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA/FMEA, MSA, and SPC
\n
• Experience with structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, DMAIC, and Pareto analysis
\n
• Experience with statistical analysis, process capability, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
\n
