Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in Illinois, with a focus on heavy ortho, urology, spine, and robotic procedures requiring an active IL RN license.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Operating Room
• Specializes in heavy orthopedic, urology, spine, and robotic-assisted procedures
• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (0800–1830)
• Day shift schedule
• On-call required: 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days per month minimum, with potential for additional call based on departmental need
• Floating to other facilities within the health system may be required

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, and recognizing and reporting changes in patient condition
• Accurate and complete medical record documentation is expected
• Participation in continuing education is expected
• This is a 13-week contract
