Part‑time Associate – 351 San Francisco Location: 350 Seventh Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94118 Starting Rate: $19.25 per hour Responsibilities The Part‑Time Associate reports to the Store Manager and performs management‑assigned duties, including: Maintain assigned store section, order, receive, and stock merchandise; ensure proper pricing and product rotation. Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot. Operate a cash register: receive payments, process refunds, and verify eligibility for alcohol sales. Offer friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers, including loading purchases into vehicles. Perform basic bookkeeping duties and record lost/damaged goods and supplies. Qualifications Read and write English; interact with customers and co‑workers. Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group situations. Apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions. Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, and occasionally up to 60 lbs. Preferred Skills Basic PC/Outlook skills. Retail Management Certificate. Benefits 401(k) retirement benefit.
