As Security Officer Full Time - W Grand Pkwy N. in Cypress, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help deter incidents through a visible, professional presence. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor or driver authorization, and control entry and exit in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
