Role Description

The Room Attendant is a full-time, on-site role based in Lake Geneva, WI. This role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and replenishing linens and amenities. The Room Attendant will handle laundry tasks such as sorting, washing, drying, folding, and stocking linens and towels. Day-to-day responsibilities also include reporting maintenance issues, following safety and cleanliness procedures, and ensuring rooms are prepared on time for arriving guests. The role involves regular interaction with guests and team members, requiring clear communication, professional conduct, and a strong focus on delivering an excellent guest experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess housekeeping and clean room skills, including attention to detail, consistency in following cleaning standards, and the ability to maintain a tidy, organized environment.
• Candidates should possess laundry skills, including sorting, operating laundry equipment safely, and properly handling linens and terry to hotel standards.
• Candidates should possess strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members, respond to requests, and support a positive guest experience.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work on-site in Lake Geneva, WI, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods, and to handle moderate physical tasks safely.
• Prior hotel or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and follow training is essential.
