Primrose School of Arrowhead is looking for a dependable, caring, and energetic Breaker/Floater Assistant to join our team! This is a full-time position with a 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday schedule.

Our Breaker/Floater Assistants play an important role in supporting our classrooms, teachers, and students throughout the day. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, nurturing, and passionate about creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children.

What You'll Do

• Provide classroom coverage and support throughout the day
• Assist teachers with daily activities, routines, and transitions
• Support children in a safe, nurturing, and age-appropriate manner
• Assist with meals, snacks, diapering/toileting, nap time, and other daily routines as needed
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
• Support children's social, emotional, physical, and educational development
• Work with multiple classrooms and age groups as needed
• Follow Primrose Schools' curriculum, policies, and procedures
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Be a dependable and positive member of our teaching team

Qualifications & Requirements

• At least 6 months of childcare experience required
• Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Must be dependable, punctual, patient, and nurturing
• Must enjoy working with children and have a genuine passion for early childhood education
• Must be comfortable working with different age groups and adapting to changing classroom needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Must obtain CPR & First Aid certification within the required timeframe of employment
• Must obtain a Food Handler's Card within the required timeframe of employment
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and employment documentation in a timely manner
