Cath Lab Technologist

We are seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with a strong background in cardiac procedures. The role involves scrubbing, monitoring hemodynamics, and circulating during cath lab cases. The average number of cases per day ranges from 10 to 15. Familiarity with EMR systems such as EPIC and PACS, as well as McKesson, is beneficial. The technologist will work in a department with six suites/labs. Cardiologists will be on call 24/7, and call response time is expected to be 30 minutes from time of page. There is a primary charge nurse present from 0600-1530 on each shift. Orientation generally lasts between 3 to 5 days. Techs are not required to float to other areas at this time. The dress code will consist of scrubs, which are provided by the facility. This position requires a commitment to providing quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum 2 years of experience required, active Illinois license or confirmation that application process has been initiated. Required certifications include ARRT and BLS. Previous cath lab experience required, pediatric experience preferred, McKesson cardiology PACS experience preferred.
