Part Time Customer Care Representative (West Coast Preferred)

Thrive (Shopventory Inc., DBA Thrive) exists to help retailers and merchants run a healthy business by offering inventory management and reporting tools they need to make informed decisions. The product is robust. This means trained support experts are a must. Helping retailers reach their goals is not easy, but it's what we do every day! So we're looking for generally awesome people to help us out! In the Thrive Customer Care Team, you'll be helping our customers (and prospective customers) navigate our system via live chat, email, phone and video calls. As you gain a better understanding of Thrive, you'll be encouraged to grow and offer more contributions to help the company grow and develop a better product. This position is part time. We are looking for someone who can work 25 hours/week, preferably 5 hours/day Monday through Friday during which time your focus will be assisting customers. A major plus is being able to work until 8 pm ET Monday through Friday. This position is fully remote. The Ideal Candidate Perfect isn't possible, we know that. You'll struggle at first and make mistakes, but that's why we're looking to train passionate people. You are a problem-solver - You can find creative solutions to complex problems, and do so with a smile! You manage your time wisely - You love finding opportunities to streamline and identifying better, faster ways to get the job done. You can wear a lot of hats. You’ll be responsible for billing questions, semi-technical questions, setup questions and more. Our reps do it all. We work hard to foster just the right balance. You can embrace the occasional "grind" - We have fun doing what we do and helping business owners realize their dreams is exciting. But even doing something exciting can get repetitive at times. You get to the root of the issue - You go after the full picture. If a customer requests a feature, you ask why and what they're trying to accomplish. There may be an existing feature or workaround that will meet their needs in a different way. Data is helpful, but useless without context. You ask the questions that will put you in a position to have all the facts before you proceed.
