Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Position Summary

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support surgical operations within an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) environment. The Surgical Technologist will work closely with Registered Nurses, surgeons, and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process.

This role is responsible for preparing surgical instruments and supplies, assisting during procedures, maintaining sterile technique, supporting room turnover, and ensuring compliance with surgical standards and infection prevention protocols.

The ideal candidate is a skilled CST with strong operating room experience, adaptability across multiple specialties, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Registered Nurses, surgeons, and surgical team members to support safe patient care in the operating room.
• Prepare surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment required for assigned procedures.
• Perform surgical scrub duties and assist surgeons during operative procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and provide appropriate instruments and supplies throughout procedures.
• Support surgical cases across multiple specialties, including:
  
  • General Surgery
  • Gynecology
  • ENT
  • Orthopedics
  • Ophthalmology
  • Total Joint Procedures
  • Robotics
• Assist with operating room turnover, including cleaning, restocking, and preparation for subsequent procedures.
• Perform instrument decontamination and ensure proper handling of surgical equipment.
• Maintain compliance with infection prevention practices, safety standards, and organizational policies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of patient care considerations across multiple age groups, including:
  
  • Infant
  • Pediatric
  • Adolescent
  • Adult
  • Geriatric patients
• Support onboarding and orientation of new surgical technology staff when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and utilize basic computer systems as required.

Required Qualifications
Education

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program accredited by:
  
  • Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), or
  • Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES)

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of Surgical Technologist experience required
• Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) or hospital operating room experience preferred

Certification

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Current CPR certification required

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Advanced surgical technology skills with strong knowledge of operating room procedures.
• Experience supporting multiple surgical specialties.
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and maintain efficient surgical workflow.
• Strong understanding of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and OR protocols.
• Flexible, dependable, and team-oriented approach.
• Positive attitude and ability to adapt in a fast-paced surgical environment.

• Scrubs provided.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.80 per hour
