Travel Physical Therapist - $2,396 per week

Job Overview Travel Physical Therapist – Needham Heights, Massachusetts. 16‑week assignment beginning 07/12/2026. 40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts. Essential Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized equipment and modalities safely, ensuring proper maintenance. Assess progress, adjust plans, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals for coordinated care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management. Adhere to infection control, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and professional development. Assist in discharge planning for smooth transitions. Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice. Required Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in Massachusetts, compliant with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in physical therapy. Experience in physical therapy; new graduates welcome. Additional certifications or licenses as required. Required Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication. Excellent written and verbal English proficiency. PC skills and ability to read and follow instructions. Physical stamina to remain stationary, move, lift 50‑100 lbs, push, pull, and bend. Ability to work with various personnel professionally. Fine motor skill to assist procedures and use equipment.
