Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties throughout surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency
- Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and patient records
- Adhere to sterile technique and infection control protocols throughout all surgical cases
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Louisiana or a compact state
- Minimum of 1 year of operating room nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Must reside or be located 50 or more miles from the assignment location (travel requirement)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CNOR certification or active pursuit of certification
- Prior travel nursing experience in a surgical or perioperative environment
