We currently have a role available for a Experience Analytical Chemist.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Performing routine & non-routine LC/MS analyses.

• Performing routine & non-routine immunoassay analyses.

• Accurately preparing and labelling laboratory reagents, solutions and samples, both manually and with automated liquid handlers.

• Consistently utilizing data file nomenclature and organizational conventions.

• Tracking study submissions on the analyst/customer collaboration site.

• Familiarity or previous experience using Watson LIMS system

• Previous experience using SmartSheets

• Tissue homogenization experience

• Organizational skills, prepare work lists for direct reports

• Previous experience training lab staff

• Communication skills to enable cross-shift seamless work transition

• Work 2nd shift after initial training period (approx. 11-7:30pm)

Job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

• BS-Chemistry or Biology (or related field) with 2+ years of industrial experience.

• Leadership experience in a scientific industry setting.

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and data science software.

• Sciex/Analyst experience is a plus.

• Ability and willingness to adapt to changing project needs and timelines.

• Works well both as a team and as an individual.

• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written. Ability to communicate issues as they occur.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Demonstration of excellent team player skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.

This is a variable shift position starting at 7am - 3pm for training and converting to a 10am - 7pm schedule once training is complete.

This position is onsite in Indianapolis, IN.
