The RN RoleAs an RN Staff Nurse, you partner with physicians and the care team to deliver safe, timely patient care for a range of illnesses, injuries, and recovery needs. This role exists to keep assessments accurate, treatments on track, and patients and families informed.Key responsibilities include coordinating care plans with providers, completing head-to-toe assessments and documenting findings, starting IVs and administering medications, providing wound care and dressing changes, monitoring vital signs and patient response to treatment, educating patients and caregivers, and supporting unit workflow while maintaining clear handoffs.Required qualifications/skills: - Active RN license; BLS and ACLS certifications- Comfort with EHR documentation (Epic/Cerner)- Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and communication- Physical stamina for 12-hour rotating shifts (nights/weekends/holidays)If you’re ready to bring steady, professional nursing care to our onsite team in Philip, SD, we’d like to hear from you.Balance & CoverageFor RN work that supports a sustainable pace: Paid Time Off, competitive salary ($37.13–$49.50/hr), Medical/Dental/Vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, FSA, and employee discounts.How Your Shift FlowsAs an RN Staff Nurse onsite at 503 West Pine Street in Philip, your shift starts with a clear, organized handoff so you can set priorities quickly. From there, you’ll rotate through patient rounding, timely charting, and brief touchpoints with providers as needs change. The pace is steady and coordinated—focused on keeping communication consistent and transitions smooth so the next team isn’t walking into surprises. With 12-hour rotating shifts (nights, weekends, and holidays), you can plan ahead around a reliable rotation and use your time off to fully unplug and recharge.
